Welcome to Historic Glenelg ' Adelaide's City by the Sea' nestled on the white sandy coast of St. Vincent's Gulf, only 20 minutes from Adelaide and 10 minutes from Adelaide Airport.

Glenelg offers a vibrant retail centre with a kaleidoscope of shopping experiences complimented by a variety of cosmopolitan restaurants from alfresco dining to award winning silver service establishments. Historically South Australia's founding colonists and first Governor landed in Glenelg in 1836 walking inland to the 'Old Gum Tree' where the Governor issued a proclamation, establishing the Government of South Australia. Historical walks showcasing Glenelg's heritage are well formatted for all visitors to enjoy.

The historic tram connects Glenelg with the sights of Adelaide and an Explorer Bus tours the local attractions. All of Adelaide's attractions are within easy reach.
